Bob Falls is delighted to be part of the “Discovering Music” project. In a pre-television time, Bob’s parents (neither of whom ever made it to high school) read poetry out loud in the living room to each other. Later, with years of teaching school and a love of theater, he founded Poetry Alive! in 1984 to bring performances of poetry to students and teachers everywhere. And although Poetry Alive! has performed all over the world for millions of students and developed programs for teachers on how to implement this in the classroom, his ultimate goal remains the same. He wants students and teachers to take their favorite poems home and read them to those people they love most.
