The Mendelssohn House in Leipzig is a beautifully preserved example of the Biedermeier style. Mendelssohn lived here the last few years of his life. We were fortunate to have curator Katharina Lengert share her extensive knowledge of Mendelssohn and the cultural life of Leipzig in the post-Napoleonic era.
